This flax packing is braided from quality rovings that provide a tight packing with square shoulders to provide a good fit, thus insuring a quality seal in the stuffing box. Natural lubricants are impregnated in this packing to provide lubrication. Not recommended for high speed shafts or high-temperature stuffing boxes.
